Not suggesting 6% av over whole resource Hots (tho who knows haha), just saying some of the more recent hits came up with such from memory. Av grade over lot so far is prob 3.5 % equiv Cu tho that was before Cu fell and Co,Ni, Pb rose so again someone needs to upgrade etc.
Just a reminder there are lotsa surprises still in store for us from the Jungle cos consider even some of the HIGH Co intersections at Mt Fitch South sulphides .... no mention from there for a while but that was previously touted as a Browns lookalike so no doubt HIGH priority for the JV after/during Omegas Browns 2.4+ km strike definition .... probably have 3 rigs working the ground round the clock on the base metals (12 mill buck pa budget, 70% paid for by HNC first 5 years).
In 2005 AGM GT suggeted the 84 mill tonnes resource base was likely to be doubled or tripled as definition continued. Also consider Browns is defined to 350m level YET paydirt is known to exist to 600+m level (some 12% Pb hits at depth) and Phelps was looking for "mother" with single million buck DDH at 1200m but missed due to likely cross faulting. Zeus made sure of that so we could keep control of the treasures !
So my calc guess is 200 m tonnes resource base is more like the mid road coming up by time we start mining sulphides and after that we will prob just keep adding from exploration over the many km untested, mostly blind strike of the fault zone within which the bulk of the treasures lie.
The Jungle is likely to prove up to be one of the worlds really great mineralized zones like the Zambian copper belt to which we bear geological resemblance. IMBOOC
