Acorn this forum is about lifestyle and travel and one could argue not about death, wills , inheritances etc .

But I thank you for bringing it up as the older we get the more we need to consider this and get our affairs in order and not just for the sake of surviving beneficiaries but also for the ones who may depart .

We never know when we leave this planet or the problems that it may cause .

I'd like to add it is your money so do with it as u please and leave it to who ever u want but make sure u understand all the ramifications of what u are signing in a will and chose wisely who will distribute [ be the executor of your will ] and be extra cautious who u chose to assist in writing your will as they often then assist the executor in applying for probate , conveyancing for realestate transactions and of course advising the executor on distributions . It's a freakin mine field so document everything u own in your will [within reason ] and be very precise with what u want to happen .

Mental families go completely pair shaped when money is involved and those with what u consider the best qualifications for the job often end up being the last person that should be involved . One would think an accountant who is a company director and financial advisor would be a good choice wouldn't u ?
Well not when the guy is a bipolar prick who has a wife who rules the roost and decides what she wants to STEAL from the deceased along with the executor [her husband ]

If u have no kids or grand kids then surely something could be gifted to close friends and others in the family ? it doesn't have to be ones with heaps or ones with nothing but just ones u like ?

    cheers g
