Hi All. Went to the Seminar. Not much new learned, the presentation is on the web site. At the stand I learned much more. Spoke to a nice guy Tim who is their environmental guy.BB the CETO 3 BA's weigh 10 tonne by them selves including the secret inside them and 40 tonne when immersed,an additional 30 tonne of water. I asked if there were any potential environmental issues and there was only one, and which surprised me, was noise. Apparently, when the piston tops, it clicks, so there is concern for Cetacea, but he said fishing boats make way more noise. I asked where the money for Garden Island was coming from. he wasn't sure and went arround it a bit. I suspect a cap raiser. We talked about Europe and Great Britain. There are six to eight competitors at equal levels of readiness and Pelamis was probably most advanced. He felt that the competition in Europe was very large and that in Australia it was easier to get grants as there is less competition here. Big fish
