Now that you describe those details my conjectured figure of A$750K per CETO III in place (note: this is a guess/back-of-the-envelope-calculation, not informed knowledge) seems much more reasonable. I'd think that the monopile would cost a bit to install, especially in big waters.

Regarding the ram pumps - I would think CWE will be hoping that they *ALL* pass with flying colours - at this early stage they will be paying top dollar (no quantity discount) so they would be wise to install rams from each acceptable supplier - gives them a good chance to compare and contrast reliability and corrosion resistance and lets them play the suppliers off against each other when they are ready to order hundreds. Also means an undiscovered problem won't take all units out giving time to replace breakages. In addition its wise to have a few suppliers in different parts of the globe.

I'm getting a really good feeling about this (starting off a high base!).
