    @jefferies2 HaHa - the phrase 'left hanging out to dry' comes to mind. Could it be included in stock-market terminology?
    or could they be the 'ghosts' of failed directors sailing the Seven Seas as in the Flying Dutchman, looking for that pot of gold in the heart/love of a maiden? Could the innocent maiden be a 'newby investor' who never loses belief, whose only virtue is that 'belief'?
