    Highlights
Copper Strike is pleased to announce the results of the initial resource
estimation by independent consultants Golder Associates on the
Einasleigh Copper Mine prospect in Queensland.
At a 0.5% Cu cut-off grade, the Inferred Mineral Resource is:
    940,000 Tonnes @ 3.3% Cu, 0.18g/t Au and 15g/t Ag.
At a 1.0% Cu cut-off grade, the Inferred Mineral Resource is:
    840,000 Tonnes @ 3.6% Cu, 0.19g/t Au and 16g/t Ag.
The resource estimate, which includes the higher grade east limb –
    520,000 Tonnes @ 4.4% Cu at a 1.0% Cu cut-off grade - has been
compiled in accordance with JORC guidelines and is a major first step in
implementing the company’s strategic plan of discovering several deposits
in the Einasleigh area and assessing the area’s potential to become a
profitable copper and gold producing province.
Not included in the Golder Associates resource estimate is a further
Inferred Resource of 260,660 Tonnes @ 2.13% Cu, located in and
around the old mine workings, as reported in Copper Strike’s October
    2004 prospectus.
Golder Associates is also preparing a resource estimate for the Kaiser Bill
prospect, located eight kilometres to the west. This should be ready in
approximately two weeks. When this report is completed, Copper Strike’s
mining consultants will evaluate the Einasleigh Copper Mine prospect
results in a scoping study to assess its potential as a high grade
underground operation and Kaiser Bill for its potential as a larger, lower
    grade open-pit operation.
    Potential for Further Mineralisation
In addition to the resources drilled by Copper Strike, there is potential for
further mineralisation. Copper Strike intends to drill in the areas outlined
    below in the coming months:
    • The extent of the current deposit at the Einasleigh Copper Mine
prospect has not been thoroughly assessed to the south or to the
west, and more tonnage could be delineated in both of these
    directions.
    • In addition, now that the geological setting of the Einasleigh
deposit is better understood, the possibility of fold repetitions to
the east and west, or faulted repetitions to the south, can be
    effectively investigated.
    • The readily accessible inferred resource within the old workings
at the Einasleigh Copper Mine has scope to increase, possibly at a
higher grade, by further drilling in and around the workings,
particularly in the area between the old mine and the Copper
    Strike discovery zone.
    Potential for Further Mineralisation (continued)
    • New mapping and better geological understanding at the Kaiser Bill prospect has
enhanced the prospectivity for further high tonnage, shallow mineralisation in the area to
the west of the current drilling.
    • High potential targets exist for expanding the resource inventory of the Einasleigh region
    at Teasdale and other prospects.
Copper Strike’s strategy since listing late in 2004 has been to utilise the economic benefit of having
several copper deposits in close proximity in the Einasleigh area. A first large step has been taken in
this direction with the identification of these initial resources at the Einasleigh Copper Mine prospect
and the pending results at Kaiser Bill.

    Resource Report
Golder Associates Pty Ltd (Golder Associates) has estimated resources for the deposit down-plunge
of the Einasleigh Copper Mine based on the results from core drill holes ECD01 and END01 –
    END26.
The Inferred Mineral Resource estimated by Golder Associates at a 1.0 % Cu cut-off grade is:
    840,000 Tonnes @ 3.6% Cu, 0.19 g/t Au, 16 g/t Ag.
The Inferred Mineral Resource estimated by Golder Associates at a 0.5 % Cu cut-off grade is:
    940,000 Tonnes @ 3.3% Cu, 0.18g/t Au and 15g/t Ag.
Key features of the resource estimate are:
    • Core recovery was excellent. Core was sampled by sawing the core in half and sampling
    over 1 m intervals.
    2
    • Samples were analysed by multi-acid digestion and ICPAES. Check analyses were
completed at a second laboratory and results were acceptable for Cu. There is a risk of a
small bias in the Au and Ag values which requires further investigation.
    • Drill hole spacing through the mineralised zone varies from about 10 m to 40 m. There is
good geological continuity of the mineralised envelope.
    • A wireframed model of the mineralisation was constructed using a nominal 0.5% Cu cutoff
    grade.
    • A computer block model was constructed by filling the wireframe with 10 m by 10 m by
    10 m blocks and 1.25 m by 1.25 m by 1.25 m sub-blocks.
    • Grades of Cu, Au, Ag, Fe and S were estimated into the parent blocks by inverse distance
    squared weighting using a 50 m search radius. A minimum of 4 and a maximum of 32
samples were used to estimate each block with no more than 8 samples from a single hole.
    • Measurements of dry bulk density on pieces of drill core were used to establish a
relationship between dry bulk density and Fe grade. This relationship was used to estimate
dry bulk density for each block in the model using the Fe block grade estimates.
These mineral resource estimates are based upon and accurately reflect data compiled by Mr Ian
Lipton, Principal Geologist, who is a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and
Metallurgy and a full time employee of Golder Associates Pty Ltd. Mr Lipton has sufficient
experience that is relevant to the style of mineralisation and the type of deposit under
consideration and to the activity which he has undertaken to qualify as a Competent Person as
defined in the 2004 edition of the ‘Australasian Code for the Reporting of Exploration Results,
Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves’. Mr. Lipton consents to the inclusion of this information in
the form and context in which it appears in this report.
Future Programmes in the Einasleigh Area
Copper Strike’s exploration and assessment programmes over the next 6 months will entail:
    • A scoping study on both the Einasleigh Copper Mine and Kaiser Bill deposits
    • Downhole and surface electromagnetic surveys to locate additional targets at Einasleigh
Copper Mine, Kaiser Bill and Teasdale
    • Drilling on the areas with high potential to locate further resources as detailed in the
    previous section
    • Prospecting for further areas in the Einasleigh area that look prospective for copper
    mineralisation.
