Seismic is only one part of the overall process and no matter how good it is, until you drill a hole on the ground you don’t know what there is. DLSs drilled 3-4 deep (>3000m) wells in ATP940 at huge cost. Fracked the sh!t out of it and still did not get good enough flow to be commercial.
A lot of wells get drilled every year and only a small portion come up with the goods
