    Misty, you wrote

"The whole of Mongolia used to be part of China, but the northern part, Outer Mongolia, became independent with Soviet help. The remaining part, called Inner Mongolia, remains a part of China as province of the Chinese nation."

That sounds like the Chinese were aggressors and dominated other people. Not a good sign Misty for us.

I actually think that China used to be part of Mongolia, but that the Chinese broke their treaty with the Mongols and broke away from them. Mongolians are a separate people, and not part of China. Similar to Tibet, but the poor Tibetans do not have the capacity to maintain their freedom.

There are lots of resources in Mongolia, so they better look out for their freedom.
