They found 32m to End of Hole of economic and high grade including 4m at 1.76% shallow nickel + 0.11% Cobalt and Chromium and didnt go into a Trading Halt. These are the zones they have been drilling now. Deeper into the mafic and ultramafic rock.
The drill bit finished in Nickel-Cobalt-Chromium so they are deeper than 32m (16storey building thickness) from surface....
The RC drill rig would have been drilling beneath those zones.
They would only go into a Trading Halt if they hit Massive Sulphide Nickel, which you can see in the drill cuttings. That is where you find what today is considered Bonanza Nickel Grades 3%+Ni.
The 20,000m of AC drilling may have also uncovered new NIckel Cobalt PGE anomalies between the 4km strike length of this area.
Now that the summer holidays are over in Europe, China and North America and factories start to gear up again to full production.
Nickel inventory on the LME hit a now record low last night, it will be interesting to see buying accelerate by EV Battery plants, then we'll see the nickel price to between $US30,000-$US40,000/tonne, in between price spikes.
