Here's a small item , like GDY seeks its proof of concept result, this compant Leviathan Energy, believes they are close to proof on a very simple accesory that could lift wind power turbine efficiencies 30% or more for small cost.
It increses the footprint of a turbine, that would seem to be the main detraction that I see.
I post this simply to point out how just when you think something is near as good as it is likely to get some brainstormer does this.
Geothermals have plenty of room yet for some similar boost.
