I don't think the board terminated JH and then decided to quickly do some deals.
I think the deals were well under way and in the final stages and that JH was an impediment in these talks and may have done or said something (maybe threatening the board) that caused his termination.
All a guessing game. I think we will have an interesting and prosperous week ahead of us.
