We can't be told what reason the board gave for terminating JH at this point, because of the legal action.
However, it did occur one or two days after the ultimatum for resignations was handed to the board. And JH was the only one not asked to resign, so the board may have assumed he was involved.
Whether JH knew about it beforehand, and how much he was or wasn't involved isn't something I can answer.
So yeah, we don't know, and we are guessing, but I'm not a big fan of coincidence.
