Been doing some in between the lines thinking and something occurred to me... an off the wall observation.
Having been to the Eastern bloc a few years ago, and having many friends there, I know how it works over there.
Bribes are the only way to get anything done, whether it's having a phone put on, or even just getting something delivered, or taking management of a state owned uranium mine.
So I would bet my cods that a large payment to the Minister of Mines in the Czech republic would be a part of the play - which is why he accidentally-on-purpose made the slip in the press conference a few weeks ago (which is now denied) that Uran was not being considered.
All a part of the hardball of Eastern European negotiation methods.
So now, by saying the press got him wrong, he's indicating he's back in play, and all Uran has to do is front up with enough of a bribe to swing it their way.
As I said... off the wall, but I think thats what's going on.
