That's what happens when you get paid to entertain rather than to inform. On the one hand I guess if consumers want dross, then that's possibly what they deserve. On the other hand, any "professional" that willingly misinforms and gets paid handsomly to do so, just because, "hey, that's what they get paid to do", get's no sympathy from me. After all, they know they have other more self respecting options available to them, even if it's, say, walking the streets, or selling their organs.
