That is because the "structure" exists it is the only way things can be and the best possible way, panglossian refers to Voltaire's critique of Leibiniz's philosophy (not his calculus) but very much alive today.
Efficient markets LOL, no resource costs or financial boom and bust cycles either. An idealised view of reality that could never exist.
Everyone is part of the machine and ground up within it but no-one is asking what it does or why.
It's painful to watch, all people need to do is ask questions and speak the truth to power. Few have the courage.
