    Nothing would be changed if we all took Duicorp's attitude. Yes it can be difficult. Yes it may not achieve much. But if we all sit back and say we can't change anything so why bother trying then you guarantee that nothing changes.

    I've had the pleasure (if one can put it that way) of making a submission to a previous enquiry (House of Reps: Older People and the Law). I ended up in front of the committee for 40 minutes. One whole chapter of the final report read like my submission. Yes, nothing has appaered to have happened yet. But interestingly, some of the people I had dealt with at the Trubunal, no longer appear in the annual report. So even if process changes haven't occurred because of the enquiry, there have been personnel changes which is the next best thing.

    I will certainly be looking at the terms of reference for this enquiry and may make a submission myself.
