    Hi Surely,

    That's a seriously well-worded proposal.

How could the government possibly refute the many common-sense positions put forward?

It is especially compelling in its arguments for:
    - broadening the focus from 'renewable' to include 'low emmission' energy production
    - legislating for the energy companies to pay at least retail rates for energy sold back into the grid (if not higher; presumably versus the current wholesale amount)

If it fails to shift government thinking & funding & legistlation etc. it would be near to scandalous. Then again, it is government we're talking about here, so who knows!

Also, again as with the launch, it's nice that they're doing this with the Victorian government, but how about the Federal Government? This should surely be put to them, and hopefully it will be in the near future.

Anyhow, it shows a number of good signs, including the company's ability to put their case forward very well. If their marketing can be as effective when the time comes for full commercialisation then we'll be on a true winner, as their technology is certainly top-notch, and timing (given environmental and energy concerns) couldn't be better (at a time when some turkeys are still pushing nuclear of all things!).

    Cheers.
