There is a pivot after Feb 26 - announcement of SS pulling out from the project.So, now retail investors started to sell, and consequently, professional investors as a group tend to buy more than sell.The shift is noticeable but not very significant yet.
Similarly here, this chart shows accumulation over time by 7 investment banks combined - (Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, Macquarie, Merrill Lynch, J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley, UBS)We can see here, that the holdings of clients of investment banks started to grow after Feb 26 after significant decline months before. Again, growth in holdings is not very significant but
it coincides with the announcement and demonstrates the sentiment of professional investors on Sibanye-Stillwater pulling out of the JV.
