From the graph, retail holders look to be the more sophisticated investors lol. They sold at the top and accumulated when the stock was low.
It was the DOE loan that seemed to be the point at which institutions started selling. Maybe they concluded at that time the loan won't be paid by the Trump administration? It's hard to understand why that would be a point to start selling.
