INR is not going to be in production until 2028 at the earliest, so how is todays lithium price even relevant because from what I know the lithium supply chain is not large as say, iron ore or copper etc and can go from over supply to under supply relatively quick.
So if your trying to use demand instead of price that would make it very difficult to forecast lithium prices years into the future.
Boron has been around for ages but it's mostly produced in Turkey so that maybe easier to forecast.

The second point is the Ioneer project is being built in the US and operated in the US. Which is completely different from Australian miners who are subject to Australia's over reaching government, environmentalists, woke agenda, higher taxes and Chinese demands.
From my understanding they will be selling lithium/boron to the US domestic market so that creates a bit of a gap between international lithium producers because of logistics, reliability and Trumps new favourite weapon....Tariffs on imported products.
Also I would imagine they will be selling in US dollars, so that brings another level of complexity with the exchange rate if the company is based in Australia but operates in the US.
I just don't see how anyone is relating INR to an Australian lithium miner or the current price of lithium. Just because it is listed on the ASX doesn't mean it is in the same trading environment as say Pilbara Minerals.
You would think the SP would be related more closely to an American lithium miner like Albemarle Silver Peak which is currently the only lithium miner in the US producing lithium at the moment as far as I am aware but even then lithium/boron prices in 2028 could be anyone's guess.

So is the INR share price movements purely based on technical analysis and announcements? It seems the most logical answer to me.
