Lithium Sector Overview -

From a weekly perspective, INR had a small drop from 17 to 16. Nothing much is happening. Now playing Li macro. There could be a news, that could change pattern, but Li macro is so strong currently that it brings the stocks into fold. PMT went from 20s to 40s on a big news. Slowly, over weeks, has now crawled back to 20s. Lost all effect of news. INR too had a jump towards 22,m but crawling back now.

Major price action indicators though are not bad -

• ALB - Flat for the week, 81.2, last week 81.21
• Ganfeng - Loss of around 0.3% from the week - moved from 36.01 to 35.81 this week
• PLS/LTR - Loss of around 1/ to 2 % for the week
• Spot Price - Down slightly for the week

So what do these numbers say? Stocks are stuck. Overall for the week, practically no change. Which may not be a bad thing. We need another push from ALB towards 92 (but first 85) and another push from Ganfeng around 37/38, which is not far away. Chinese stocks have held fairly well, so possible.

.Personally, I have not been able to play much in EV (Lithium, REE, Cobalt, Graphite) and Uranium sector for quite some time from a sector play, I have been playing Gold to most extent with some Health stocks. Gold stocks are playing like Lithium and Uranium of 2021/2022. Even small stocks rising big on hype. Lets see how long it continues..

So what may happen next week? US general markets had a big drop on Friday. US Li stocks didn't to very bad, relatively, so that was a good sign. Monday we may start tentatively, especially with general market jitters, but not expecting any big drops for Li, to start with. Then it will depend on how Chinese Li stocks open. Lets hope its a week of ascendancy. All the best.
