I am a shareholder of central petroleum ltd. I have some questions
regarding the company's progress.

In the progress report dated 01/05/2006, the company stated '...the
Company would prefer to spud either Avalon or Blamore in late June or
early July 2006'. No mention was made however of an indicative timetable
for spudding Avalon or Blamore, or more importantly the company's
progress in securing a drilling rig, in the progress report dated
05/06/2006.

What progress has been made in securing a drilling rig, are you
confident late June or early July 2006 can be met?

Dear , thank you for your support. It is not possible to provide
detailed information to one shareholder and not all of the others. The
drilling locations of Blamore and Avalon have now been finalised and
progress is being made towards sacred site clearances and road access in
an area which has not been explored since the mid 80s bringing with it
inhereent difficulities associated with such a remote location.
Further updated details will be released to all shareholders in a timely
fashion.
