Everyone is assuming the director hit abort of his own valition, which may be the case, but he’s only been there a few months and that is very damning black mark on ones career just to make a fast buck.

Much more likely he had disagreement, either his own or ones that others had with him, and he left much because it’s easier than getting booted formally (which is also a black mark) so maybe the writing was on the wall?

Very to fear monger and assume the first, but who knows? certainly nobody here. I’m not saying it was one or the other, just offering a contarian view.
