if you are looking for dividend paying renewable energy companies... there a lot better, and less complicated ones out there...

Said it a long while ago here... nothing has been shown to have changed my view... this is a smoke and mirrors business.

Of course they will tell you the partial sale of an asset is to demonstrate that the value of the asset is near what their internal valuation process says... that is just to hide the fact that the funds are needed to cover the distribution.

Financially structured products like this are great while the distributions (not dividend) are being paid... you will be left with an empty shell before you know it.

Have a look back to the GFC... businesses such as this were dime a dozen...

60% leverage is pretty normal and sustainable for stable assets such as power generation... but how this is being run is concerning... unless the proceeds from sale are being offset against the initial debt of the asset - and this is how the business is structured - there is a pyramid of cards being stacked here.
