Agree with your summary. A good interview and the culture is changing from "bigger" to "Better" I think. TB seems to think Big C is better than some analysts, and I am comforted by the fact that TB should know.
I am still not convinced re SFR (unless the price drops somewhat), and think TB is more focussed on how he can get synergies between new deposits and existing investment. How this plays out will be fascinating. SFR is likely to be a hostile takover with a corresponding increase in premium.
I also note that talk of takeover of PNA has dropped which I think is good as it is and never was a strategic move. I note that PNA has also dropped at about the same rate as OZL recently, giving the lie to the theory that the reason for OZL sp drop was because Big C was not well received.
