I'm yet to come across media reports of instances wherein Netanyahu's IDF has demonstrated an attempt to understand what they're about to obliterate, Biden's 'proportionate force', respect for human life or mercy of any kind.
It's now their benchmark, one I hope that Hamas is not going to apply to the surviving Israeli hostages.
