Us small fry were left in the dark as to who was doing what.
We still are!
Whilst brokers do not have instant access to who is doing what, they can still get from the ASX a summary of what broking houses did what volume on a particular day. Yet we cannot?
One level of information for the big end of town, and another for the small guy, who provides a good chunk of the liquidity to the matket.
