As I said over on the A2M Forum back in 2023 "The chart is not looking good for A2M. Takeover bids nowhere in sight IMHO. Even the long mooted A2M AHF merger will now never ever happen."
A2M/ATM should have taken over AHF when it had the chance back in 2019.
It now looks like AHF will become larger than A2M and have better prospects.
The NZ Government will not allow Fonterra or Yili or Mengniu to takeover A2M/ATM now.
Any takeover bid for AHF would be opportunistic and may not pass the FIRB.
The mooted Fonterra bid for AHF when and if it comes must pass the FIRB and that might not be a sure thing.
Any takeover bid for AHF below 35 cents or $250 million AUD is opportunistic IMHO and should be rebuffed.
