Tanner is a politician that deserves some respect for his integrity even if you disagree with his position

Not that he's always right... just for his integrity...

I don't think you'd find Tanner laughing off pensioner plight with statements like "they don't vote for us anyway"

On the posting nowdays...

It's easy to understand missing a post

In my case it takes far too much of my time to read through the endless trivial postings

Might be fine for others with loads of time for their amusement

It's so easy to miss some insightful point of view on the important issues (and with this government there are many issues) as one is required now to read through all the trivia to find them

It seems to work in favour of the minority who might want to hide them in a wave of anti coalition posting

Is this possibly the intention?

The value of open debate and the just as important freedom to choose what to read seems to be reduced as a result of some of the original complaints on this forum

This has certainly happened personally... Time is important

Questions got to be asked... is this the "web" blog equivalent of "radio" talk-back phone-in jamming?

Better times ahead good people
