Well we certainly cant right off the possibility of insider trading, however, there could me a number of other possible factors leading to the recent sp activity..
for example, relatively low market cap-80%of which is owned by substantial holders...recent trading has been on low volumes which may just be the general everyday punters...
secondly, sp raced up to +$1 on similarly low volumes, with a substantial dilution pending, to the point of being possibly substantially overvalued. This combined with the recent recession has seen it pull back dramatically (to the point of being substantially undervalued in imo..) It was inevitably going to low at some point and race straight back up again due to very sound fundamentals.
From the above mentioned factors, I believe that your supposed manipulation of the sp is more or less due to chance that the ann came out when it did.
