OK about 30% of those convicted have got jail time.
Those that sold for a profit where convicted more harshly.
Just to be clear if you look at the volume before announcements you notice it could be more of a widespread problem.
Having two people going to court over insider trading from the one company that may not be linked or directly is a cause for concern. Will there be more?
They are going to trial separately so makes me think not linked.
It takes asic on average 1315 to see from investigation to deliberation on insider trading in the courts for one of the posters above.
