I feel that the Calvin Zhu guy is in more being an Australian citizen.
There is an easy way to resolve this though; Put like 5kg of confiscated heroin in each of the accused luggage bags an fly them to Singapore ... and notify the Singapore customs in advance. Our laws are just too lenient on this sort of whit collar crime crap. And let Singapore resolve the mess for us.
Chinese do not play by the rules ... well let us "tweak" the rules as well.
