I assume this is in relation to ATC.

I do not know what you were told in relation to this company but in Rifkin's case it is alleged he was told market sensitive information and he bought shares based on that information, which is an offence.

As I understand it the release of the information is not an offence provided the release was made to entice a person into buying the shares.
