I agree that it's interesting, I must admit that I read the first article and thought Lucas was just arrogant and unrepentant. However it was Hill's suggestion that Lucas' defence may have deliberately gone down that road to make him seem human that made me think a little deeper. No doubt culture can sweep up a person, particularly a young man, and it is probably a short step from one instance of cheating to finding yourself completing large scale fraud.
