My understanding is that inclusion/removal from the S&P 200 is mainly based on the market capital of the company.
As our share price got hammered, removal went from a possibility to a certainty and the big guys would be well aware of this.
I don't see that Gavin Argyle has been privy to inside information and sold part of his share holding due to the imminent removal from the list - his selling may well in part have got us down to the market cap that triggered the event.
I believe that the institutions would have seen the writing on the wall and been selling as well so as to avoid a fire sale when the removal happened.
Having said that our share price is being mercilessly manipulated by the big end of town, our company value can not have reduced/changed but such huge amounts without any real change in our situation to justify it.
