My guess is that Cassidy will:

. make mention of Thomson's arrest, say it is sub judice to talk about it whilst criminal processes are pending and move on,

. mention that it is a masterly stroke for Gillard to have called an election 8 months out and to re-energise the cabinet by persuading Roxon etc to move on,

. make no mention at all about the beefed up Vic Fraud Squad into the AWU scandal which is edging ever closer to the Prime Minister.

. spend most of the show talking about how Abbott has to watch his back from Turnbull, how poorly he is rating in the polls, how he has a problem with women, why doesn't he release and cost his policies now, and how he is in for a torrid year from a rejuvenated, feisty Julia Gillard.


All in all, it will be a typical episode of Insiders.

I am sure I am not the only one who hopes the next government puts the cleaners through the ABC and privatises it to make it accountable.
