Tin, one of the gripes labor had against the Pacific solution was due to Nauru not being a signatory to the UNHCR even though it the detention centre was run by Australians.
Why do you promote a country now that isn't a signatory to the UNHCR, where any detention will not be under the care of Australians AND a country that has a known history of torture?
