Very hawkish RBA statement. AUD rising likely based on the RBA statement.
The rise in interest rates has helped the net margins, but how long can the consumer deal with these normalised rates having borrowed likely when rates were next to zero? Add in commodity prices falling and the AUD rising - not good in the longer run for the overall economy.
CPI data out tomorrow. If CPI is higher than expected it could damper expectations of a rate cut.
Its all happening and anyone who bought above $140 should be very nervous
