The interview just posted may give some further insights if you haven't seen it.

I think from a business use perspective being able to manage your outbound posts from within Thred is where there would be most value. I think if you are a business embarking on a social media campaign and you can do that via Thred by posting to the different platforms without actually having to toggle between those platforms is a win. It's an obvious time saver for business with the benefit of full MS Office integration and contact aggregation enabling collaboration. (again macro/looking bigger picture).

Just my opinion but it seems obvious. Hence early calls as Thred vs Slack
