We have discussed this in another thread, to some extent.
The view appears to be that the reduction in the instant asset write-off will be (over time) good to excellent for SNL as the trucking fleet's median age will apparently increase.
As I've said previously, I was surprised to learn on my visit to the 'open day' for SNL's new Truganina, western Melbourne branch that the median age of trucks in Oz is 25 years. That figure was stated by an SNL manager. Does seem high, but he'd know.
