No, my Super is not self managed.
Several Superannuation funds have products that allow your more choice in where your Super is invested.
My Super is with IOOF Expand Extra - it allows me ot buy/sell in the ASX 300.
With this product I can also invest in LIC's, and Fixed Interest products for 6, 12 , 24 months.
I can also immediately go to 100% cash if armageddon happened.
Trade price ($38) is a little higher than Comsec, but the granuality in control by me makes the extra trade price worth it.
