re: employees It wouldn't be up to Anvil to present anyone. The charges are directed at individuals, people not even associated with the company anymore, not the company. Anvil has however indicated they will defend these individuals, if it comes to that.
The colonel should be prosecuted, he was ultimately in charge of the troops and the situation, as should the soldiers that committed these crimes. For the life of me however I can't fathom what these 3 individuals were supposed to do that would have changed anything. Is there an army on the planet that takes instructions from ordinary civilians?
Facilitating the transport of the authorities to an event unfolding on your doorstep that involves men with guns should seem reasonable to anyone concerned, requisitioned or not. The issue doesn't seem to be the transportation in the first place, but that once the army was transported to Kilwa the trucks weren't withdrawn when bad things started happening.
The question is once under army control do these 3 individuals have any authority over the use of these vehicles? I doubt it.
