HC people have consistently been over optimistic with predicted prices.
Spot on or underestimating Anvil developments.

Suggesting a market reluctance to value Anvil without large discount.
Meaning share price is undervalued.

As for prediction of two years ahead?

Had in mind $2.00 for 2007 some time past.
A little more reluctant now.


In 2009 Anvil will be producing 100,000 tons copper P/A.
Three times 2006 production.

Suggesting a share price of somewhere in the vicinity of $3.00.

A crude measure would put share price about $2.20 in two years time.

Perhaps not a lot less in 2007.
Gut feeling is that 2007 will see a share price in the vicinity of $1.50 to $1.70.

All assumes Congo Government is stable and peace remains.
That increased efficiencies - SXEW plant, richer ore, transport, etc. - and less discount due to sovereign risk, will balance a reduction in copper price as production surges.

Stone Pony has (it seems) indicated a huge increase in proven rich copper ore will change such paramaters and will see greater recognition of Anvil and a surge in share price above and beyond.
