factors on placement A few factors that would affect the placement and share price impact would be the amount of dilution - would it be regular shares or option - time of options - any issues to management (granted free shares as payment) the discoutn is also a big factor do they take the last 5 trading days, last month or the average of 6 months then do a 10% discount to that to please the institutions who are now reluctant to pay current market price on any stock with the stockmarket (ASX) at all tiem highs and interest rate pressures going up !
