I would not say to not listen to his advice, but he is extremely conservative and his only reccommendations are blue chip stocks for high net worth clients with a long term investment profile. He recommended flight centre long term but feels current price is above what he feels is a good entry point. Im too embarrassed to say how much money I lost on mainly oil and gas speculative shares 6 or 7 years ago. But was all my savings and part of an inheritance. In hindsight it was an invaluable experience but the 2 things I learnt was to never touch a speculative share again and even more importantly was to never take advice from a person on this forum. I actively trade gold and oil futures as I like to gamble but I have a broker in china for gold and a broker in Cyprus of all places for oil to advise when to buy and sell. I would not reccommend trading futures but I love to gamble. I turn over a huge sum of money for a relatively small return.
