I cannot think the violent drop would be to do with those shorters. I think the hedge funds were just making a statement or "grand entrance" before the AGM as a way of saying "Im watching you". Hedge funds do not like being proved wrong so they just want to be right..... for now.
I know today isnt a good day re the SP but Im hoping the volatility after today will fade and the slow rise will be set for next few months?
