I think if you read there ann fully ,you will find the answer to your doubts.
Why do you think they are buying into a manufacturing plant in China? Once they set up there they can compete on price but with better expertize.
The way i read it there on the ball, as most manufacturing companies are. (futuris/elders) now make all of the seat components in China, for ford and holden and ship them back here.
