Also in regards to juding Christianity by the inquisitions. The anaology does not hold to reason. The inquistiosn did not arise because of the teaching of Jesus, as no authority can be given to them based on an undersanding of scriputure, rather they were a response to Islam. The Inquisition arose because Islam had invaded spain, and the hatred they left behind in teh hearts of the people towards them, lead to their own persectution. Once Spain was reclaimed, the attention was turned to ridding Europe of the Invading Muslims and the form this took was the Inquisition.
Your arguement is like blaming catholicism for the IRA.
