It states the dollar hit a high of 98.49 U.S on the 16th July 2008 and is closed at 88.85 U.S today

Kitco closing Spot Zinc Price on the 16th July 2008 80.96cUS or 82.20cAU
Kitco closing Spot Zinc Price on the 9thth August 2008 75.99cUS or 85.53cAU

Now INL produces its zinc in AU Dollars so in my opinion your post is alarmist at best.
