I was recently in the US on an unrelated business trip but i was talking to someone in the medical field in a general conversation about some of the little Aussie companies i was invested in with PNV being the main topic.
He mentioned that there are a few hospitals that are cutting edge but the vast majority are trapped in repetition, rewards from big pharma and a lack of knowledge to keep up.
He said most leading care treatment changes take up to 20 years to cut through across the whole country, I guess we are circa 10 years into our journey.
